World Through Your Eyes - PYC 2009

Concept
The aim of this mural was to get participants to think critically about several important questions related to Change, and “Youths Ability to Bring Change”. The mural was designed with five different aspects each representing a different thought about change. The globe represented the world as it is and the current state of affairs. The tree represented what the youth want changed. The leaves represented what are we going to do to create that change. The river represented how do we find hope and inspiration. And Finally, the face represented how we hope to help the world in the future. Participants were encouraged to paint different parts of mural with symbolic or abstract representations of reflections related to each relevant question.
